Ayu is a very sweet and calm mare. She is very affectionate and loves attention. She is also well backed and shows a lot of talent as a sport horse, but because of her down-to-earth nature, we can definitely see her going for a nice hack in the future. Ayu is well-behaved when riding and gives a trusted feeling, she is calm and does not fuss easily. This makes Ayu not only a good broodmare, but also a horse that, with some extra training, could also be a family horse!

We bred this mare ourselves at the time and sold her as a 3 year old Ster mare too a Belgian owner. Due to lack of time of this person
we have now bought her back. Ayu has everything a good quality star mare must have. She is modernly built, long-lined, with lots of front, and a good, spacious walk and trot with good hind leg use. She gives her size to her offspring. Ayu is a daughter of Hessel 480 Sport out of a Ster+Preferent mare by Harmen 424 Sport x Anton 343 Sport+Preferent.
