Hylke is a very impressive large stallion with lots of quality. It is a stallion that you do not easily walk by and will score high in the competition ring. Both under saddle and in the stable, it is an incredibly handsome horse for which you just have to stand still. Hylke has a beautiful, sturdy head, a strong upper line and 3 good gaits.  Hylke has been backed and is learning fast and is nice forward. He is also comfortable to sit in and has a good take-off. Hylke has an active big walk, a well carried trot and a big uphill canter. All this makes him a horse which is very suitable for dressage. In handling Hylke is a friendly stallion who is well behaved and likes attention. Hylke is a stallion with a lot of size and stature, so he can be a bit strong. We would prefer not to see him with a small or light owner, but with someone who can put him in his place. He will never be mean, but because of his size he can be a bit 'strong' in handling.

He is recently checked on x-rays which was fine. Hylke is priced in the higher price range.
