We had a wonderful breeding day in Nisse. With beautiful weather and our own bred horses all ran top!
Our colt: Doe mij die maar van Zomerstaete received a 2nd premium with a 7.5 on trot. This young promising by the stallion Mans 543 x Tiede 501 will be reared with us.
Next in the lane was the filly Do-Re-Mi by Zomerstaete. This filly by Hildwin 528 received a 1st premium with good marks and became in the afternoon programme reserve champion filly and she also received the prize for best filly out of a studbook mare.
The real finale was yet to come.
Overall reserve champion was Smaragd van Zomerstaete Ster AAA (Arent 515 x Loadewyk 431). The four-year-old Ster mare from Zomerstaete achieved a AAA score in her ABFP for the saddle and driving test at the end of December and she received an invitation to the Central Inspection in Nisse. ‘A mare with a lot of trit in trot,’ summarised Sabien Zwaga. ‘Youthful, correctly built and she steps diligently and well through the body.’ She did not need the test marks from her ABFP, but confirmed her quality of movement. Emerald was champion of the four-year-old and older mares and overall reserve champion.
