Arjan van Zomerstaete has been born

Bonita van Zomerstaete has given birth to a colt! In the evening on 4 March 2024, we looked at the camera and saw that Bonita was standing quietly in a corner, but she did sometimes arch her back. Are these push contractions? We asked each other. We walked downstairs and indeed, Bonita’s waters had just broken and Bonita lay down after which a colt was born healthy: Arjan van Zomerstaete sired by Kanne 534 AAA x Hessel 480 Sport AA. Arjan is named after our friend who died recently. We are happy that we were able to name this beautiful foal after him. Mother and son are doing well.
